| This product comes with two powerful decks, each with their own planeswalker. A great entry to magic for a beginner, or a supplementary pack for the intermediate player. There are 8 rares and two foil mythic rares, being the planeswalkers. Both decks are very evenly balanced. I would pay the full price for only one of the decks. |
Great green and black intro.

These two decks are a great pair for anyone wanting to delve into the world of green or black Magic cards.
First off, the box is quite eye catching with a great color scheme and setup. When you open it, you receive two decks, a deck box for each deck, a poster-type guide with info on the decks and a poster-type guide with the basic rules of Magic and a glossary of terms.
Garruk's green deck is a very nice deck with great cards for experienced players to mix and match into their current deck as well as a great set of greens for anyone new to Magic or green. Out of the box, I can tell you that the green deck is very playable having used it and fought against it un-altered. You can google for more info on Plansewalkers and Garruk specifically, as well as for a visual spoiler, but I can assure you that you wont be disappointed.
Liliana's black deck is a bit more difficult to play with right out of the box, but it will definitely give you an idea of what the world of black is like. I have already mixed and matched these cards into a current black deck of mine so I can say it is also good for seasoned players. Again, you can google for more info on Liliana and for a visual spoiler of the deck if you want an in-depth look at things.
Overall, these two decks are very fun for new and seasoned players alike, and these are a great way to explore how it is playing with a Planeswalker. Both of these decks can help you get an idea of what it is like to play as green or black, can help you boost your current green or black deck and can help spawn ideas for future decks.

3 stars for education as you do learn a bit about tactics, mathematics and such.
2 stars for durability as they are playing cards which you must take good care of to avoid any rips, tears or spills.
5 stars overall as I would recommend this product to any fan of Magic. |

if your like me you dont go to the big tournments all that often or at all for some
well these two decks are great for the common player who wants to have that good deck but just cant seem to build one because of lack of knowlage or lack of cards or the occasional lazyness or all of the above great for up to a 3teir player 4to 5 tier players really need to add to these to make them work up in the top but its not very hard to do so just dont be stupid about it. well best of luck to all of you hope this review helps |
Very Powerful

These two decks have very strong cards and are both themed and playable. The Garruk deck comes with a lot of powerful beasts and even more spells to enhance your beast's power. The Liliana deck is built around powerful creatures and spells that will destroy your opponents cards. These are very playable out of the box but also it'd be very easy to modify these into more advanced decks.
I also liked how each deck gets it's own themed box. It's not the extremely protective plastic ones, but it'll keep your decks together and neat. |
