Reviewer: JP,
This theme deck is just plain ok. I have not been playing magic very long but i can tell you that its only gonna be good against other worldwake theme decks. I would only recommend buying this deck if you really need the new "Landfall" abilities, which activate every time you play a land, or you just want to keep the game on even grounds with your friends. I bought this deck with three other guys who bought the other theme decks "Flying over" "brute force" and such. I can say that I whooped most of their butts, so this is a better theme-deck then I would say others are. But that can be debatable i know.

The landfall abilities can be either decent or incredibly dumb. Most of the landfall abilities in the deck are just rehashes of old abilities that use to be able to be used just by tapping creature. Example: "When a Land you control comes into play, Attack target creature for 1 dmg" or something, which past cards could do without the need of land and sometimes without tapping a creature. This makes the landfall abilities seem just a roundabout way to go about things, especially late game when you are running out of lands. Other abilities are not that usefull and the best cards and what i used the most where the flying cards they gave you, but that maybe because some of the other theme decks lack flying, which helped when I faced my friends.

I did my best to upgrade the deck, and mostly i just found the Landfall abilities to be kinda useless in more serious games. I made this deck into more of a burn deck and protect spells and it does decently well for itself, so its a good start to build on if anything.

Although personally i would think they should of geared this into a more red and blue deck, so that way you always have lands on you. There isnt much reason why they needed white in this deck, other then some of the white have landfall abilities. Landfall would have been better if it was majorly a blue item.
