Anticipation builds as this Friday the long awaited Worldwake set enter the standard game. We here a MTGG are really looking forward to it and I have a few reasons why (but I’ll get to that later) I hope you all attend your local shop for the launch parties and events happening on Saturday and Sunday, I’m sure those will be a blast. But, the main thing I’m here to discuss is why I like Worldwake and am pretty amped for its arrival.
First off I’m ready to do some deck building; I want to really play with this set as the manlands could be some fun. Also, I am particularly excited about a few cards. And, then to top it off I’m excited to crack open my first few packs of this set. I have heard a few people down the set and honestly, I think this set looks great. The excitement to see some beautiful new cards is killing me, there is nothing like cracking that first pack and hitting the card you really wanted and that’s what I am looking forward to.
Now the cards I’m really looking forward to, well firstly I am really amped to see and play with both swamp threader and kor firewalker, They will be a wonder for my boros deck I think as a sideboard card firewaller and marsh threader will help with some tough match ups. Next I’m glad to see most all the new blue cards. Blue wasn’t doing well in Zendikar but cards like treasure hunt, Jace, the mind sculptor, and dispell give me some hope for blue. The last card I really like is Joraga War-caller. That card will help with any elf deck and it being the release card makes me happy.
All in all the set looks pretty sound and I hope I will I enjoy playing with these new cards. That’s all we have for today. Please keep playing and thanks for staying, here at MTGG, your number one source for magic info.
